crazy for ROBOTS: robot #31

Perhaps the hardest thing about posting all this great robot art is having to decide exactly which robot to include with the post! This cool robot is no exception. For robot #31, I bring you Gyro created by Guy Robot (aka Rich Muller). There are about 12 unique robots featured on Guy Robot, but Gyro might be my fave. I love his single eye, square body and funky, specialized antennae. Standing 19 inches tall, he is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

How do these robots come together? Guy Robot explains:

After much tinkering and experimentation, the personality of each Guy Robot begins to take shape. This gelling is achieved through a precise, repeatable recipe consisting of one-part slide-rule calculation, two-parts trial-and-error metallurgical alloying, and four-parts leap-of-faith improvisation.

Ha! Very cool! Be sure to check out Guy Robot for more.
