Whatcha Mean, What's a Zine?

Although I don't know how I haven't known about this book, I'm glad I do now. Published in 2006, this is one of the most fun how-to-make-a-zine books I've ever seen. Although it's geared towards young adults, Whatcha Mean, What's A Zine? is fun for folks of all ages. Written and illustrated by long-time-ziners Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson, this book includes all sorts of tips including copier tricks, unique binding (with Saelee Oh), having fun with materials (with Souther Salazar), places to leave your zine and a whole lot more. The coolest thing about this book, though, is how fun it is. You can tell that Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson had a blast putting this together (at least it looks like they did). It feels like a zine. How cool is that?
