Flickr Feature: Blanca Gomez

Generally speaking, my eye tends to be attracted to artwork that has a lot going on within it, but every now and then I see something that's so wonderfully simple, that I can't help but be drawn to it. The wonderfully simple work of Blanca Gomez just makes me smile. I love it. The minimal warm color and linework in this piece is great. Before seeing her work on flickr, I first saw Blanca's work on moo where she has about 4 pages of wonderful pieces that you can apply to all sorts of moo goodness. Blanca is from Spain and although I don't speak spanish, I've already added her blog to my RSS reader so I can keep up with what she's working on. This spot of warmth is just what I needed on this insanely icy day!
